Self Illumination Community is a virtual space where our members can learn, interact and receive support form each other. The site is configured as a social site, where everyone can post comments, images and videos. To ensure a safe and harmonious environment we have set this set of guidelines and we ask all members to follow and respect them diligently.
As a spiritual community, we hold strong ethical values which we share during our live streaming, articles and courses. We ask all members to help us maintain this values throughout the site, in each user generated content like postings, comments, images, videos or interactions.
We’re in times where the Internet and its open social communities are trying to regulate their user content and are learning how to do that in the best way. Please keep in mind while reading this guidelines that the Self Illumination Community is not a common platform and open site like Facebook, YouTube or Instagram. This is a site that represents a spiritual community with its own points of views and values; and never should be used, addressed, compared or confused with other social media sites or platforms.
When login in to the site, consider it a virtual “sacred temple”. Enter with the same respect you would if this was a physical temple and with the state of mind that everything within is sacred.
Our community accepts members from diverse backgrounds, cultures, nationalities, ages, and beliefs. We believe that humans can live in peace and harmony with each other and Nature. For that, respect, coexistence and appreciation of each other is imperative. Even though members may hold different points of views, we ask you to make a commitment to create a loving, safe and open environment for all our members.
1. General Behavior
As a spiritual community, we ask everyone to be mindful of the way they conduct themselves at all times.
Observing our thoughts and emotions is part of our spiritual practice and we encourage everyone to do so specially before and during visiting the site.
Address all members with upmost respect as if they were the most venerable enlightened being you ever had the chance to meet.
We do not accept gossip or any kind of negative behavior targeted to create, controversy, discrimination, separatism, segregation or puts people in a doubtful space between members, incites them to turn agains our community or it’s teachings.
We foster acceptance, patience, tolerance and positivism among many other qualities and we encourage all members to do the same.
2. General Precepts
- Be genuine and truthful.
- Think on the consequences of your actions.
- Prioritize others and self well being.
As a social community, we allow image and video upload and we ask you to be mindful of the content and context you upload.
Personal videos are part of the “Self Love Practice” and other programs and courses offered to the members. We encourage all members to post only edited parts of their videos that are appropriate and follow this Community Guidelines standards as follows:
- Uploads should not reveal any compromising or personal information.
- Uploads should not have any partial or total nudity, obscene, vulgar or violent content, imagery or vocabulary.
- Be sure your upload will not offend anyone or speak negatively about others.
- Do not instigate or promote negative behaviors
- Do not instigate or promote harm to self or others.
Share only photos and videos that you’ve taken or have the right to use and share. You are responsible and own all content you upload. We suggest it to be authentic and original, following all applicable laws for intellectual property and copyright.
Even though we do not forbid it, we discourage the following:
- The upload of newsworthy or controversial content.
- Content that talks about other people in a negative way.
Protect yourself and be very careful of not exposing any personal information.
A way to gage your upload’s content is to see how would it make you feel if your parents, children, teachers or the people you love the most in your life would see it. If you feel comfortable, happy and good in every way, go ahead, otherwise you may have to edit it.
We believe in meaningful and genuine interactions to be part of what helps us have a happy life. It is important that we use this site the way it was intended to, which is to support each member in a good way with loving words.
We understand that sometimes people may have different beliefs and points of views. We encourage all members to be patient and tolerant. If any argumentation or dispute starts please try your best to don’t let it escalate.
Every moment is sacred, every moment is spiritual.

Each member has permission to access its own account only. Any individual that would like to have access to the site and/or participate in any course or program has to have their own account with updated profile.
It’s not allowed to share usernames and passwords for any reason.
This is also a security issue for all our members which helps avoid impersonations, defamation and other problems.
Courses and Programs
Each course and program have dedicated private group where only enrolled members are allowed to join.
The posts, comments, images and videos within this groups are absolutely private and accessible to enrolled participant members only.
Members will be part of the course or programs private groups for as long as they are actively enrolled and participating within the given timeframe. After that period each member will be removed from the group.
You’re allowed to create your own public or private groups to stay in touch with members that you met during your time in the course or program group.
Groups created by you will not have a Self Illumination leader/organizer.
Please refrain from giving advice to other group members, if they have questions or are going through something they do not understand. It’s always best to be supportive and ask your group leader/organizer directly as they have the experience to deliver any needed assistance or guidance.
2. Content generated within a course or program group
Content generated within a course or program group refers to the content is generated by members and group leaders/organizers posted in the group’s timeline.
All content within the group’s timeline may NOT be shared or discussed with members outside the course’s group, non enrolled members or with non Self Illumination members.
For questions about the teachings please always refer to the group’s leader/organizer.
3. Courses and programs content
Courses and programs have videos and written material that is exclusive property of Self Illumination. By enrolling, members are granted access to the content but are not allowed to reproduce, copy, share or distribute it, neither partially or in its totality. Members NOT allowed to discuss the content of courses or programs with non members.
Health and Healing
1. General health
In order to join this community you must:
- Be fully coherent.
- Capable of discernment.
- Capable of self assessment in mental, emotional and physical levels.
2. Before enrolling in courses and programs
Please check first with your trusted health advisor to ensure you’re mentally, emotionally and physically capable of taking any of the Self Illumination courses or programs.
Although healing and health changes may occur by engaging in spiritual practices, we encourage our members to not make that the sole purpose of participation.
Teachings and information
Self Illumination’ teachings are spiritual in nature and dedicated to the awakening process and spiritual advancement.
The given teachings and information may not always follow the same understandings or agree with current science. The reason is that science nowadays relies on technology for its statements. As technology evolves, science discovers new horizons. That means that no scientist knows how much technology based science has yet to discover and is restricted by its own technical limitations.
On the other hand, our human capabilities are only restricted by self awareness and doesn’t need to wait for any technological advancement to achieve its potential. All that is need for our spiritual awakening and advancement we already have it.
This Community Guidelines are subject to changes, please review them often.

Self Illumination Community is a virtual space where our members can upload videos of their Self Love Practice. That allows everyone to learn, interact and receive support form each other. The site is configured as a social site and comes with certain guidelines to ensure everyones safety and best experience.
Being a spiritual community, we hold strong ethical values, please check our Community Guidelines before generating or posting any videos.
1. Member generated content
Even though this is a social online community and we promote social interaction, we ask members to refrain from posting videos that do not pertain to the “Self Love Practice”.
2. Video files
Videos should not exceed 1GB in size. Which is equivalent to a 5 min video in 720dpi HD.
Best is to set your smartphone or recording device to H.264 MP4 720dpi. That will ensure your video uploads and that it can be viewed in all browsers.
Each member is allocated 31GB quota per month cycle, which is equivalent to 31 videos, 5 minutes each.
Once the quota is reached, videos may not upload.
Be sure to delete unnecessary videos to make room for new ones.
2. Recording tips
Run a test to ensure you have good lighting. During the videos you should be able to see yourself clearly.
Double check that there’s no people about to pop in your video or external sounds that may compete with your voice or distract you during the recording.
Do not record while driving, operating equipment or doing something that put your health or the health of others in jeopardy.
Do not share driver’s license, passports or any personal documentation with any member.
Same goes for financial information, do not share bank accounts, statements, credit card information, etc.
Keep your body to yourself:
Do not show revealing body parts.
Speaking about others:
During the Self Love Practice, sometimes we unveil stored feelings about people, family members, friends, and those feelings may not be good ones.
If you don’t have nice things to say about people, don’t say anything.
Try to avoid saying bad things about the ones that may have hurt you, it will just make it worst for you and eventually you’ll regret it.
We hope that none of our members will ever have to Report Something to us and everyone will follow the Community Guidelines diligently.
If you end up having to report something, first of all, we’re sorry to hear you’re dealing with an unpleasant situation. We’ll do our best to help out. Please be sure to evaluate carefully the content and context before reporting out to us. We ask all members to be careful and not abuse this feature as reported ones and reporters will be examined alike to ensure fairness.

We ask all members to be vigilant and help us maintain our standards by also reporting any comments, postings, images or videos containing any of the following:
- Hate speech, bullying and harassment or kind of abuse.
- Violence to self or others.
- Over sexualized or nudity.
- Alcohol; legal, illegal or prescription drugs.
- Instigation to wrong doing.
- Self harm.
- Copyright and Intellectual property infringement.
- Illegal activities.
Please also report the following:
- If you find a member being under the age of 13 years old.
- Impersonation accounts.
- Hacked accounts.
- Members trying to get or investigate private or personal information from other members.
- Offers of legal or illegal services and products.
If a comment or post gets reported several times, the content will get “hidden” from all members until the matter is resolved.
If you wish to stop all connection with someone you may “Block” them. This way you won’t see any of their comments or posts any longer.
Go to your “Friends” tab and select the friend you would like to block. On the right of their Profile you’ll see the “Block” button.
You can always take your decision back and “unblock” them.
If a member gets too many “blocks” and/or many posts and comments reported, the member will be suspended. All content will be “hidden” from other members and account access blocked until the issue gets settled.
Self Illumination will evaluate reports and suspensions in a timely fashion and will take actions according to our standards.
Self Illumination will not issue a refund or prorate the time while the account was suspended.

AGREEMENT TO TERMS
The information provided on the Site is not intended for distribution to or use by any person or entity in any jurisdiction or country where such distribution or use would be contrary to law or regulation or which would subject us to any registration requirement within such jurisdiction or country. Accordingly, those persons who choose to access the Site from other locations do so on their own initiative and are solely responsible for compliance with local laws, if and to the extent local laws are applicable.

How You Can’t Use Self Illumination.
Providing a safe and open Service for a broad community requires that we all do our part.
- You can’t impersonate others or provide inaccurate information.
- You can’t represent a business, Corporation, Agency or Government.
- You can’t be hired by someone, a business, Corporation, Agency or Government to join.
- You don’t have to disclose your identity on Self Illuimnation, but you must provide us with accurate and up to date information (including registration information).
- You may not impersonate someone you aren’t.
- You can’t create an account for someone else.
You can’t do anything unlawful, misleading, or fraudulent or for an illegal or unauthorized purpose.
You can’t do anything to interfere with or impair the intended operation of the Service.
You can’t attempt to create accounts or access or collect information in unauthorized ways.
This includes creating accounts or collecting information in an automated way without our express permission.
You can’t attempt to buy, sell, or transfer any aspect of your account (including your username) or solicit, collect, or use login credentials or badges of other users.
You can’t post private or confidential information or do anything that violates someone else’s rights, including intellectual property.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
Provided that you are eligible to use the Site, you are granted a limited license to access and use the Site. You can not download or print a copy of any portion of the Content to which you have properly gained access, as is solely for your personal, non-commercial use. We reserve all rights not expressly granted to you in and to the Site, the Content and the Marks.

17. Harass, annoy, intimidate, or threaten any of our employees or agents engaged in providing any portion of the Site to you.

24. Use the Site as part of any effort to compete with us or otherwise use the Site and/or the Content for any revenue-generating endeavor or commercial enterprise.
USER GENERATED CONTRIBUTIONS
The Site may invite you to chat, contribute to, or participate in blogs, message boards, online forums, and other functionality, and may provide you with the opportunity to create, submit, post, display, transmit, perform, publish, distribute, or broadcast content and materials to us or on the Site, including but not limited to text, writings, video, audio, photographs, graphics, comments, suggestions, or personal information or other material (collectively, “Contributions”). Contributions may be viewable by other users of the Site and through third-party websites. As such, any Contributions you transmit may be treated as non-confidential and non-proprietary. When you create or make available any Contributions, you thereby represent and warrant that:
1. The creation, distribution, transmission, public display, or performance, and the accessing, downloading, or copying of your Contributions do not and will not infringe the proprietary rights, including but not limited to the copyright, patent, trademark, trade secret, or moral rights of any third party.
4. Your Contributions are not false, inaccurate, or misleading.
5. Your Contributions are not unsolicited or unauthorized advertising, promotional materials, pyramid schemes, chain letters, spam, mass mailings, or other forms of solicitation.
6. Your Contributions are not obscene, lewd, lascivious, filthy, violent, harassing, libelous, slanderous, or otherwise objectionable (as determined by us).
7. Your Contributions do not ridicule, mock, disparage, intimidate, or abuse anyone.
8. Your Contributions are not used to harass or threaten (in the legal sense of those terms) any other person and to promote violence against a specific person or class of people.

By posting your Contributions to any part of the Site, you automatically grant, and you represent and warrant that you have the right to grant, to us an unrestricted, unlimited, irrevocable, perpetual, non-exclusive, transferable, royalty-free, fully-paid, worldwide right, and license to host, use, copy, reproduce, disclose, sell, resell, publish, broadcast, retitle, archive, store, cache, publicly perform, publicly display, reformat, translate, transmit, excerpt (in whole or in part), and distribute such Contributions (including, without limitation, your image and voice) for any purpose, commercial, advertising, or otherwise, and to prepare derivative works of, or incorporate into other works, such Contributions, and grant and authorize sublicenses of the foregoing. You waive all moral rights in your Contributions, and you warrant that moral rights have not otherwise been asserted in your Contributions.
We do not assert any ownership over your Contributions. You retain full ownership of all of your Contributions and any intellectual property rights or other proprietary rights associated with your Contributions. We are not liable for any statements or representations in your Contributions provided by you in any area on the Site. You are solely responsible for your Contributions to the Site and you expressly agree to exonerate us from any and all responsibility and to refrain from any legal action against us regarding your Contributions.
We have the right, in our sole and absolute discretion, (1) to edit, redact, or otherwise change any Contributions; (2) to re-categorize any Contributions to place them in more appropriate locations on the Site; and (3) to pre-screen or delete any Contributions at any time and for any reason, without notice. We have no obligation to monitor your Contributions.

You acknowledge and agree that any questions, comments, suggestions, ideas, feedback, or other information regarding the Site (“Submissions”) provided by you to us are non-confidential and shall become our sole property. We shall own exclusive rights, including all intellectual property rights, and shall be entitled to the unrestricted use and dissemination of these Submissions for any lawful purpose, commercial or otherwise, without acknowledgment or compensation to you. You hereby waive all moral rights to any such Submissions, and you hereby warrant that any such Submissions are original with you or that you have the right to submit such Submissions. You agree there shall be no recourse against us for any alleged or actual infringement or misappropriation of any proprietary right in your Submissions.
CONTENT REMOVAL AND DISABLING OR TERMINATING YOUR ACCOUNT.
Content you delete may persist for a limited period of time in backup copies and will still be visible where others have shared it. This paragraph, Policies and Terms will still apply even after your account is disabled, terminated or deleted.
We respect the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe that any material available on or through the Site infringes upon any copyright you own or control, please immediately notify us using the contact information provided below (a “Notification”). A copy of your Notification will be sent to the person who posted or stored the material addressed in the Notification. Please be advised that pursuant to applicable law you may be held liable for damages if you make material misrepresentations in a Notification. Thus, if you are not sure that material located on or linked to by the Site infringes your copyright, you should consider first contacting an attorney.
TERM AND TERMINATION
If we terminate or suspend your account for any reason, you are prohibited from registering and creating a new account under your name, a fake or borrowed name, or the name of any third party, even if you may be acting on behalf of the third party. In addition to terminating or suspending your account, we reserve the right to take appropriate legal action, including without limitation pursuing civil, criminal, and injunctive redress.
MODIFICATIONS AND INTERRUPTIONS
We reserve the right to change, modify, or remove the contents of the Site at any time or for any reason at our sole discretion without notice. However, we have no obligation to update any information on our Site. We also reserve the right to modify or discontinue all or part of the Site without notice at any time. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, price change, suspension, or discontinuance of the Site.
If the Parties are unable to resolve a Dispute through informal negotiations, the Dispute (except those Disputes expressly excluded below) will be finally and exclusively resolved through binding arbitration. YOU UNDERSTAND THAT WITHOUT THIS PROVISION, YOU WOULD HAVE THE RIGHT TO SUE IN COURT AND HAVE A JURY TRIAL. The arbitration shall be commenced and conducted under the Commercial Arbitration Rules of the American Arbitration Association (“AAA”) and, where appropriate, the AAA’s Supplementary Procedures for Consumer Related Disputes (“AAA Consumer Rules”), both of which are available at the AAA website: www.adr.org. Your arbitration fees and your share of arbitrator compensation shall be governed by the AAA Consumer Rules and, where appropriate, limited by the AAA Consumer Rules. The arbitration may be conducted in person, through the submission of documents, by phone, or online. The arbitrator will make a decision in writing, but need not provide a statement of reasons unless requested by either Party. The arbitrator must follow applicable law, and any award may be challenged if the arbitrator fails to do so. Except where otherwise required by the applicable AAA rules or applicable law, the arbitration will take place in kauai, Hawaii. Except as otherwise provided herein, the Parties may litigate in court to compel arbitration, stay proceedings pending arbitration, or to confirm, modify, vacate, or enter judgment on the award entered by the arbitrator.
In no event shall any Dispute brought by either Party related in any way to the Site be commenced more than one (1) years after the cause of action arose. If this provision is found to be illegal or unenforceable, then neither Party will elect to arbitrate any Dispute falling within that portion of this provision found to be illegal or unenforceable, and such Dispute shall be decided by a court of competent jurisdiction within the courts listed for jurisdiction above, and the Parties agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of that court.
The Parties agree that any arbitration shall be limited to the Dispute between the Parties individually. To the full extent permitted by law, (a) no arbitration shall be joined with any other proceeding; (b) there is no right or authority for any Dispute to be arbitrated on a class-action basis or to utilize class action procedures; and (c) there is no right or authority for any Dispute to be brought in a purported representative capacity on behalf of the general public or any other persons.
Exceptions to Informal Negotiations and Arbitration
The Parties agree that the following Disputes are not subject to the above provisions concerning informal negotiations and binding arbitration: (a) any Disputes seeking to enforce or protect, or concerning the validity of, any of the intellectual property rights of a Party; (b) any Dispute related to, or arising from, allegations of theft, piracy, invasion of privacy, or unauthorized use; and (c) any claim for injunctive relief. If this provision is found to be illegal or unenforceable, then neither Party will elect to arbitrate any Dispute falling within that portion of this provision found to be illegal or unenforceable and such Dispute shall be decided by a court of competent jurisdiction within the courts listed for jurisdiction above, and the Parties agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of that court.
There may be information on the Site that contains typographical errors, inaccuracies, or omissions, including descriptions, pricing, availability, and various other information. We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions and to change or update the information on the Site at any time, without prior notice.
THE SITE IS PROVIDED ON AN AS-IS AND AS-AVAILABLE BASIS. YOU AGREE THAT YOUR USE OF THE SITE AND OUR SERVICES WILL BE AT YOUR SOLE RISK. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, IN CONNECTION WITH THE SITE AND YOUR USE THEREOF, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. “Cancelling” is different than “Deleting” your account. Cancelling is related to the membership payment that grants access to the site and its content. By cancelling your account your content will NOT be deleted. To delete all your content and account information please go to the “Deleting my account” tab on this page.
There are two ways to cancel your membership, one through your “My Account” page and the other through your personal PayPal page.
Cancelling your membership from your My Account page:
This method can be used by members that used either debit, credit card or PayPal as payment method.
Log in with your Self Illumination account and go to “My Account” page on the bottom left.
Go to “My Membership” tab and click the “Cancel” button.
Then you’ll see this message with the option to reactivate your account.
Cancelling your membership from your personal PayPal’s page:
This is a second option for members that used PayPal as payment method.
Log in to your Paypal account and go to Activity.
Select “Self Illumination” from the Activity list
Click on “Manage Self Illumination payments”
Click on “Cancel” button.
Click on “Cancel Automatic Payments” button.
You should get this confirmation message and you’re all done.

“Deleting” is different than “Cancelling” your account. By deleting your account you’ll be permanently erasing all information pertaining to your account. If you’re intending to reactivate your membership in the near future we suggest you to Cancel it instead as your account and content will be there when you reactivate. If you wish to just cancel your account instead of deleting it please read the “Cancelling my membership” tab in this page.
To delete your account and erase all information go to the drop down menu next to your profile picture on the top right of the site and go to Settings>Delete account.
Click on “Delete Account”
Check the “I understand the consequences” box and click on the “Delete Account” button.
Another place to find the “Settings” page is by going to the left bottom corner of the site and clicking on the gear icon.
